Oregon Writing Project
The Oregon Writing Project at Willamette supports excellence in the teaching of writing at all educational levels and subjects through collaboration, education, and community involvement. As a National Writing Project site, we are dedicated to improving the teaching of writing and use of writing to learn in our community’s schools. Through a professional development model, OWP at Willamette aims to build the leadership, programs, and research needed for teachers to help their students become successful writers and learners.

Writing Methods for the K-12 Classroom. Presented by the Oregon Writing Project
Join Oregon Writing Project Teacher Consultants as you explore the writing process and its application in a K-12 classroom setting. Course participants will write, share, and discuss ways to incorporate new learning into their classroom structure/lesson plans. Experienced teachers will share lesson ideas and best practices in the area of writing. Participants are eligible for 1 qrt. hr. of graduate credit. Course fees total $50.
