Anthology We will be putting together an anthology for each young writer to take home at the end of the week-long camp. This anthology will consist of one selection from each young writer at each location. the scary stories pieces will be combined on a CD, which will be included in a sleeve at the back of the anthology. Teachers can also submit their own writing piece to the anthology.
Site directors need to collect all student writing pieces that will be used in the anthology, make one copy (so the student can retain the original) and bring them to Willamette on Friday. Willamette will take all the writing selections from each location and make enough copies for everyone.
Site Directors are responsible for distrubion of the anthologies to everyone who attended the camp at their site. Student addresses will be on the registration forms. Willamette University will cover the cost to copy the anthologies as well as the mailing costs. At next meeting Melody will distribute manila envelopes for anthology mailings.
For consistency, please type your anthology selections according to the following specifications:
Anthology Specifications Font

Kid Art At each site, students may submit artwork for the cover of the anthology. Pieces not selected for the cover, may be used as graphics within the anthology. If they choose, artwork can be done in the form of icons for inclusion within the anthology. A call for artwork will be sent through the confirmation letter to the kids participating in the camp.
Melody will bring confirmation letters and evaluation sheets to the next meeting for Site Directors to see. The evaluation sheets will be put in the trunks.
Flat Stanley Photos Each team needs to consider how they would like to incorporate Flat Stanley into the day at their camp location. The Site Director should take a digital photo of young writers and Flat Stanley for inclusion on a website to advertise the event for next year.
